First things first: DIY sewing table
My husband was nice enough to convert an Ikea corner desk into a sewing table for my Juki 1020Q.
Quilts and Things
This "How to Train Your Dragon" mosaic quilt was the first project I completed using my Juki 1020Q. For those quilters out there considering trying free motion quilting, I highly recommend the Juki 1020Q. My Juki is work horse that not only held tension for the duration of my project, but also did not skip stitches.
This is the Cat in the Hat quilt I recently finished for my sister's baby shower. This was a simple quilt to complete and I really enjoyed exploring new free motion patterns with my sewing machine.
For those of you out there would like to purchase a toddler recliner for your little one but don't want break the bank, reupholstering a used chair is a great option. I bought this used recliner for $4 and recovered it with my daughter's favorite character fabric for a fraction of the cost of a new toddler recliner.
She is a happy client and I'm a happy Momma :-)
